Aircraft: PA-28 or Cessna 172 (4 seats)
Flight time: 70 minutes approx.
Price: £265 (up to 3 people)
The Round Robin Flying Lesson is for up to 3 people and includes a flight briefing followed by three flights in a four seat light aircraft, landing at Northampton (Sywell) and Peterborough (Connington) airfields for brief refreshment before returning to Leicester (Sywell may be changed to Nottingham if unavailable). During the flight, each student will take a turn in the pilot seat and will be able to handle the controls under the supervision of a qualified flying instructor. The students will be able to appreciate the benefits of flying to other airfields and gain the experience of flying cross-country flights and landing away.
Each student will be a passenger on two of the legs, which will enable them to take more information onboard regarding the flights, whilst occupying a more relaxed position. A certificate of flight will be awarded to each on completion of the lesson and the flight time will count towards the hour requirement to obtain a Private Pilot’s Licence.
Allow 2.5 to 3 hours for this experience. Friends and family may take photos at the aircraft and then watch from the club cafe or balcony which have excellent views over the runways.
You can purchase this experience by clicking the link below. Once paid we will send you a voucher which you will receive within a few working days. When you have your voucher you can contact the club on 0116 259 2360 to book your flight. If you are in hurry, you can call and book as soon as your payment is confirmed.
Please note that weekends fill up quickly so a wait of 2-3 weeks is not unusual during busy times. Midweek availability is usually good. Please book early for a special occasion to avoid disappointment.
