Flying training will recommence on July 4th but experience flights and trial lessons will not restart until August 1st under current plans. This may be bought forward at the club’s discretion, or put back due to Government guidelines.
While social distancing measures are in place the airfield is closed to non-members to allow us to conduct our training in a safe environment.
The airfield will be open to visiting pilots normal hours, Wednesday to Sunday from May 28th (including Thursday evenings until 8pm). Closed Monday & Tuesday.
The café is serving a limited menu to be delivered to our picnic benches and picnic area below the tower. We would encourage you to bring some chairs or a blanket to sit on as benches are limited, but space is not. You may also bring your own picnic if you prefer.
AvGas is available at £1.54 per litre and air/ground radio and fire service are operating. All sensible social distancing measures are encouraged, including the use of contactless payment (please avoid cash).
