Belvoir Castle & Rutland Water

£265

An experience flight of approximately 1 hour to overfly a beautiful castle and a stunning manor, then on to the largest reservoir in England.

Depart to the North East over Baggrave Hall and the market town of Melton Mowbray. Keep an eye out for the parachute canopies dropping over Langar Airfield before you make a turn around the beautiful Belvoir Castle. Equally impressive is the University at Harlaxton Manor, your next turning point before tracking directly to Rutland Water. On the way look out for gliders over Saltby Airfield before you overfly the massive but now repurposed Cottesmore Airbase. A wide sweeping turn around Rutland Water will give you fantastic views of the reservoir, Normanton Church, the dam, the boats and the wildlife sanctuary, and of course the tiny village of the Hambleton Peninsular. After passing the market town of Oakham, look out for Launde Abbey as you return to Leicester.
